Miskwaabik will officially open for the season on Friday, June 5. We welcome all Debendaagziwaad (registered Nipissing First Nation members) to enjoy the space and its amenities.
Please note the following important updates and guidelines:
- Ongoing Work:
Work may take place throughout the season. We will notify the community in advance of this work. Please exercise caution when using the park near active work areas.
- Camping:
Overnight camping is not permitted at this time. The Economic Development Department is currently exploring a pilot project that may allow overnight camping for two designated weekends in the future. More updates will be shared as they become available.
- Dock Area Closure:
The dock area is currently off limits due to high water levels. Once water levels recede, docks will reopen for community use through the purchase of a dock slip.
Anyone interested in purchasing a dock slip may contact:
Vince Galea – [email protected]
- Boat Launch:
The boat launch will remain open during this time.
