Tuesday, April 9, 2024 – The LCHC will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until noon, and from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Please note, the LCHC will be closed for lunch from noon until 1 p.m.
Limited vaccines are available. Members must book an appointment for the clinic.
The Ministry of Health is recommending that the following individuals receive an additional COVID-19 vaccine dose this spring:
- Indigenous individuals and members of their household 55+
- Adults 65+
- Individuals 6 months+ who are moderately to severely immunocompromised due to treatment/an underlying condition
Eligible individuals may receive an XBB COVID-19 vaccine in spring 2024 if it has been 6 months since their last COVID-19 vaccine dose or known COVID-19 infection – whichever is later.
