This second information session is being hosted by the Chair of the Election Code Committee, Fred Bellefeuille, to review the proposed amendments to the Election Code and answer any questions about the membership.

A memo summarizing these proposed changes was mailed to all registered NFN members in mid-October, along with a copy of the committee’s report from November 2018 that explained the rationale for each suggested revision. These documents, and other resources, are available to download on our website: www.nfn.ca/election-code.
Voting Packages will be mailed in mid-November and will include: Notice of Vote, Proposed Amended Election Code, Memo of Changes, Ballot and Witness Statements.
Vote by mail-in ballot or online at onefeather.ca/nations/nipissing between December 1-30 (no in-person polling stations due to COVID-19 pandemic).
Vote Results: Vote count day is December 30th. Our Electoral Officer will compile a final report of voting results to present to Council at a duly convened meeting in early January 2021.
