Join NFN Member Kelsey Borgford for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create a bone pipe necklace—perfect for starting or adding to your regalia. Food and drinks will be provided.

Students will reflect on how these placements influenced their learning and how they will shape their future practice.

Water Bundle Ceremony @ Holy Spirit Church Parking Lot

NFN Members, Affiliates and friends are welcome to join the Water Bundle Ceremony. Nbisiing Nbishnaabe, our connection to water – Nbii.
A water bundle is a sacred bundle carried by Nishnaabe Kwewag (women) reflecting their role as protectors and caretakers of water. It holds important teachings, songs, and prayers passed down through generations, guiding how water is honoured and protected. More than the items inside, the bundle represents a deep spiritual connection and responsibility to care for water as a living source of life, while recognizing the vital role of women in supporting community and the natural world.
