Nipissing First Nation is holding a peaceful rally on Monday, June 2 at 12:30 p.m. at Vic Fedeli’s Office (219 Main St. E., North Bay) to stand up for our rights, our land, and our future. We invite all community members, partners, and supporters to join us in our traditional territory as we raise our voices in solidarity with First Nations leadership across Ontario.
Bill 5 is new legislation that could harm our land, weaken environmental protections, and ignore our Treaty rights. It was created without proper consultation with Indigenous peoples. This is not right and we must speak out.
Come stand with us. Show your support. Bring your signs, your drums, and your voices. Together, we will send a clear message: We are still here, and we must be heard.
