Lower Your Hydro Bill with the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP)
Are you a low-income household looking to reduce your hydro costs?
The Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) offers a monthly credit directly on your electricity bill if you qualify.
NFN Members can receive in-person help with their OESP application from representatives of the Ontario Native Welfare Administrators Association (ONWAA).
What You Need to Apply:
- A copy of your current electricity bill
- Names, birthdates, and SIN numbers for all household members
- If you haven’t filed taxes in the last 2 years, bring proof of income (e.g., paystubs, OW/EI statements, or bank records)
