NFN members interested in being considered for a vacant trapline can contact the Environment Department for support or access the required application documents.
This opportunity is part of the annual MNR notification process.
Individuals wishing to apply must hold—or be willing to obtain—a valid Fur Harvest, Fur Management, and Conservation Course certificate.
Please note that certification is not required for trapping conducted for subsistence purposes, as this activity is protected under constitutional rights.
