Nipissing First Nation, in partnership with the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), has developed a subsidy program aimed to encourage the adoption of electric vehicle technology in our community.
Eligible members of NFN can receive up to $5,000 toward the installation of a level 2 electric vehicle charging station in their home!
Eligibility:
- Must be a registered member of NFN
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willing to provide proof of ownership or proof of purchase of a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)
- Owner of a household within NFN
