The NFN Adult Education Program supports students 21 and over to get their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Classes are provided twice a week in each community (Garden Village and Duchesnay). Students benefit from a NFN teacher on-site and monthly incentives.
This program is provided in partnership with NFN Employment and Training, Ontario Works, and the Near North District School Board.
2021-2022 Session
Registration is required to take part in the NFN Adult Education Program. Sessions take place from September to June:
Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in Duchesnay
Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in Garden Village

How to register
Complete and submit the following documentation to the Elementary/Secondary Support Worker:
- Continuing Education Self Study Registration form (2021-2022)
- Adult Education – Student Information and Consent Sheet
- Secondary school transcript(s) (Contact the Education Department if you require assistance to get your transcript)
- Resume
Once your registration is submitted, we will complete an assessment to see how many credits you are eligible for. Your life experiences may make you eligible for extra credits! You may be contacted for additional information.
